why is this 6:35?.... you are aware that the original piece is meant to 4:33 right? like thats why its called 4'33"... also its not meant to be silent, but to have the sounds of the environment in which it is played instead of music. also there is no need to have a burka....

  3. I appreciate your input, however, I must say I'm disappointed by our reaction. First of all, contrary to popular belief, the piece is not four minutes and thirty-three seconds long, and is actually made up of three parts (hence the three scenes). I feel that you entered this experience with prejudices and assumptions, and instead of taking the piece for what it is, you compared it to what you wanted it to be. I want the viewer to feel like the man in the audience, and therefore the ambient noises of that scene are supposed to be the ambient noises of the viewer's, your, environment.

This is really bad, sorry to say. I felt like there was a lot of unsurprising results that kind of made me depressed. Big disappointment.

Watched it a couple of weeks ago, and again tonight. It was even more interesting this time for how you shot it. The lighting, the position of the person in the frame. If anything it moves too fast. Inaction is stressful as we have to deal with ourselves, our own expections, and that's a small part of the point.
